Ultimate In Pool Care was founded by Pamela Young and Ed Cohen in 1998. Upon Pamela’s untimely passing in 2003, Ed and the staff of Ultimate In Pool Care have continued to strive to meet and exceed all of Pamela’s expectations of high standards of craftsmanship and service.  

With over thirty years experience building and servicing swimming pools; Ed Cohen and the staff of Ultimate In Pool Care continues to have the drive to be -and remain - the most established and recognized pool building and service company on Long Island, a distinction that is not easily earned.

Ed has spent countless hours developing training programs for the swimming pool technician and as an instructor of these programs. He is a Past President of The Long Island Pool and Spa Association and is an active board member for both Long Island and The Northeast Pool and Spa Association. Ed is both certified by the APSP as a Certified Building Professional and as a Certified Service Professional; the highest designations one can achieve in the swimming pool industry. Ed is recognized nationally, by his peers, as an expert in leak detection and repair.

While the pools Ultimate In Pool Care build and service are all different, they all share in common a successful response to customer’s needs and challenging requirements. Ultimate In Pool Care is proud of the recognition it has achieved.
